Wallis Sands. but yeah, that sounds awesome..
Sad to hear about the bridge.. and good to know as I was thinking of heading there on sunday. perhaps I'll hit rye instead.

ooops! typo....amusingly I wrote typo as tupo at first as well. My typing skills are just not up to par today ;P

You can still get out to Odiorne - you just have to go by a slight detour from where I live - and it happens the detour puts you right at Wallis Sands :)

re: the bridge/road

I think they're mostly shoring the road up at this point but I couldn't see much past the signs and the road crew - they've been working on it for a few weeks now - so I'm hoping that its almost done...I went to check it out because I figured I might still be able to get across by bike ... but such was not the case.

and I definitely recommend going today if you get the chance - its good weather for it but just bleary enough it scares the tourists away ;)

yeah, April is traditionally when people in NH enjoy the beaches. and september.

I used to take the subway to the beach in grad school, just because I could. It's a bit more of a hike now.
