Frakking headaches...
Hey friends.
Quick drive by to say that I'm sorry I haven't been around much or updated my stories. (I know some of you are going to hunt me down and kill me for that one. LOL) I've been sick, which is common for me. But long story short - I have a crumbling spine and get THE MOST EVIL migraines. They can last an hour or a week. And they totally wipe my ass out. Right now I'm in severe pain in my back even when the headache lets up, so writing is on the back burner until I can focus my brain again.
Just wanted y'all to know the deal.
Also - not sure how many of you pray but my sister, Laurel, is about to welcome her first grandchild - a little girl they've already named Cheyenne. Unfortunately we recently learned that little Cheyenne has a cyst in her brain, and the amnio tested positive for Dandy-Walker Syndrome. The child faces hydrocephalus, cardiac abnormalities, mental retardation ... just to name a few of the highlights. Children born with this syndrome can be nearly normally functioning or severly vegatative, and all the stages inbetween. There's just no way to know yet what fate holds for Cheyenne.
If you pray, or send out healing thoughts, please keep my sister, Laurel, and my niece, Christine, in your minds. They can use all the prayers and good thoughts they can get. Thanks.
Also, I've missed some birthdays. Happy Belated to everyone who's had a birthday this month. I hope you had a great one!!!
