I will give them this, the Impact opening was good. Worryingly Oz's curtain pulling, but good.
And then they ruin it by putting Brooke Hogan in charge of the Knockouts. What, exactly, is her knowledge base for this? I wish to yell 'nepotism' again.
It annoys me that I really like Garrett Bischoff's theme tune. I think it's because it sounds like a countrified version of 'Get Off' by the Dandy Warhols.
There are so many things wrong with the whole Abyss/his brother thing, and yet, I enjoy it. Mostly because Abyss can act, when he's not being Abyss.
And Joey Ryan is this month's Gut Check person. He is wearing a hipster scarf and sunglasses. And terrible facial hair, not as bad as his usual, but ...
They did that thing again, where there was a bit where people are half out of character, and Kurt Angle was suddenly adorbs again.
The problem with the whole King Mo thing is that by hiring someone who competes in a secondary weight category (not that I don't, as always, prefer the lower weights), for probably the US's second biggest MMA company, well it makes TNA look somewhat second rate when compared to WWE bringing in Brock Lesnar who is a heavyweight ex-world champion, for the most recognised MMA company in the US.
Austin Aries smirk is a thing of wonder. I <3 the X-division.
AJ Styles has a ridiculously beautiful drop kick.
That match was awesome, fantastic. Anyone who tells you AJ can't tell a story in his matches is so wrong.
And Tazz got in the best zinger in - 'Bobby Roode is celebrating with all his friends', there being, of course, no one else in the ring.
TNA, I thought we'd discussed the old man hour, although I assume the return of our favourite Joker impersonator is so they can hype up the new Impact timeslot.

After some delay Day #19: Your favorite movie version of a play
The Branagh "Hamlet" -
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116477/ Mostly because it gives the whole play with a minimum of alterations to the script as she is written. And it's full of actors who I can hear and don't mumble. This is how little I ask of things.
And it does it with style and brio and good fight choreography and nice sets and clothes. And good actors. I find that helps too :)
Also, Branagh's Hamlet is wonderful. As I've said before, the difficulty of the play is that Hamlet is often a jerk, and Branagh's portrayal shows you the Princeling growing up before your eyes, so you're actually sad by the end.
I love it so very much.
The other option is 'Shakespeare: The Animated Tales' -
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0147788/ Which I have on DVD at home home and was one of the best £50 I ever spent. The animation is wonderful, so is the voice acting, and the adaptations are done well, keeping the spirit of the stories while condensing them.
