This is a list of Character Relationships for Claire Redfield for the Role-playing game trans_9. No idea how often this'll be updated, orz.
Relationship Key
♡♡♡♡♡ - Loved ones; these are the people Claire considers just as much family as anything.
♡♡♡♡ - Friends; people she likes well enough, but doesn't share as close a connection to as the five-heart types.
♡♡♡ - Acquaintances; Neutral ground, really. People she knows but doesn't know well enough to have opinions of.
☣ - Dislike; these are the people that make Claire uncomfortable or uneasy, but not necessarily enough to cause an outwardly violent reaction in her.
☣☣ - Hatred; watch out. If you get on Claire's most hated list, you have obviously done something to deeply wrong her, and it's unlikely you're ever getting off it.
Christopher Redfield ♡♡♡♡♡ - To say that Chris is Claire's everything is probably going a little overboard, but he definitely comes close. Chris is one of the reasons Claire keeps going the way she does. He's the reason she left her dorm and stumbled into Raccoon City on that fateful night, and he's the reason she's kept fighting for so long. He's the only blood relative she has left, and she loves him dearly. This is not to say they're not without their differences, of course, and chances are good that one of them is intermittently in trouble with the other, but their relationship is a very loving brother-sister dynamic.
Leon S. Kennedy ♡♡♡♡♡ - For seven years Leon became one of the closest people to her, someone who she could confide just about anything in, a good friend found after one night in hell. She can say without hesitating that Leon is her best friend. It also took her seven years to realize, but her feelings for him were far more than just that of one caring for a friend. While things are by no means perfect between them, Claire has realized Leon is likely the love of her life, and as much a part of her as he was before they started dating, he's so much more to her, now. She is the type of person who could survive losing someone she loved, but if she lost Leon, she would struggle with finding worth in surviving.
Sherry Birkin Redfield-Kennedy ♡♡♡♡♡ - Despite having only known this little girl for a day, and losing touch with her for nearly seven years after that, Sherry deeply wormed her way into Claire's heart and never completely left her. It was with Sherry in mind that Claire took her current career path, and when she found Sherry again on the meatship she was more than willing to accept the little girl into her life as her daughter. Their relationship is something of an unconventional one, since they are a new family pretending to have always been a family, but Claire finds Sherry easy to love, and would not hesitate to put her life on the line to make sure her promises to the little girl were kept.
Steve Burnside ♡♡♡♡♡ - It might come as a surprise to have Steve this high up, but despite his attitude, and the fact that she feels forced to hold him at an arm's length, Claire does care deeply for Steve. Just not the way he wants her to. Claire looks at Steve like a younger brother, someone she feels like she needs to protect from everything that's happened to him. She would like very much to get to know Steve in earnest, he just doesn't make it very easy for her. Not only because of his unrequited feelings for him, but because every time she looks at him part of her feels the pain of how she failed him.
Jill Valentine ♡♡♡ - While Claire has known Jill just as long as Chris has, she's never really gotten to know the older woman much beyond what Chris told her about her. Her brother's feelings for the woman have always been painfully obvious to Claire, though.
Jo Lupo ♡♡♡ - Claire's interacted with Jo a few times, they're both relatively kickass women who are good with guns, and they both kick Leon's ass to keep him in line. Claire would like to know Jo better, because she's pretty awesome.
Jean Grey ♡♡♡ - Jean Grey has been a large help since Claire showed up on the meatship, first in checking out Steve, then in saving Claire's own life during the infighting regarding the Yeerk Trial. Personally, though, she doesn't know the woman very well.
Luis Sera ♡♡♡ - Luis is a friend of Leon's, but outside of that, and the fact that he's helped Sherry and Steve both, she doesn't really know him that well.
Raiden ♡♡♡ - He helped Claire out during the zombie siege, which alternately annoyed her and was appreciated by her. Otherwise, not really much of a talker.
Ada Wong ☣ - She doesn't have much personal experience with the woman, but enough that she makes her skin crawl out of principle (and possibly jealousy). She's worked for Wesker enough times that Claire would never trust her, but she also knows it's probably been more about the money than anything. Not enough to make her completely hate her.
Albert Wesker ☣☣ - Douchebag fucked up her brother's life, indirectly fucked up her life, and tossed her around like a rag doll for funsies. Also he took Steve to be used for experiments, which is just not fucking cool. And have you seen those sunglasses and that hair? Way to rip off Johnny Bravo, asshole.
