It was by pure chance that i pick up Paul Arden's 'Whatever you think, think the opposite.' from basheer's.
It is a scary book; to begin with. It is certainly inspiring and a boost to my routine & sometimes mundane life and a reminder: life is moulded by you yourself and no one else.
TRAPPED. It's not because you are makking the wrong decisions, it's because you are making the right ones. We try to make sensible decision based on the facts in front of us. The problem with making sensible decisions is that so is everyone else.
When we were young we were reckless and we were willing to take risks, but as we age, we became grown ups, and learned to make sensible decisions, the so called right decisions, the safe decisions. What if all these while we thought this is right but it is in fact; wrong?
One of biggest goals in our lives are to avoid all forms of embarrassments, we fear failure, we dislike disappointment; and the best way to avoid these emotions, is to not to start off at all. :(
