Character Information
Name: Sebastian Michaelis

Fandom: Kuroshitsuji
Timeline Summary: After the Jack the Ripper Case, before the Curry Contest ark.

Personality:

Sebastian is a demon. As such, it is extremely rare for him to show emotion. When he does show any, it is usually irritation; pity, happiness or any other “human” emotion is usually feigned, if at all present. His typical expression is either blank, or a smug smirk.

Sebastian usually displays his irritation towards some of his master’s orders, the staff of the manor, and the shinigami Grell. The latter one is also witness to the more sadistic Sebastian.

Due to the Faustian contract, Sebastian is to follow his Young Master’s every order, up until said Master reaches his goal, after which Sebastian will claim the boy’s soul. When ordered to do something, Sebastian usually carries it out flawlessly. It is seen on several occasions that Sebastian doesn’t seem to care very much about his Master’s welfare, putting him at risk as a minor source of entertainment. It doesn’t appear like Sebastian has many weaknesses. Even though his demon form in never revealed, it is known that he has one. Usually, his more demonic side is indicated by his pupils changing to slits, and his eyes glowing crimson.

Sebastian has a strong attraction to cats, and dislikes dogs, even though he himself is often compared to one. He has noted several times that he does not lie, and has so far held true to that statement.

First Person: This was…irritating.

Despite living amongst them for so long, there are some aspects of human culture I still fail to understand.

Third Person:

(Taken from Volume 2 of the manga…that’s fine, right?)

Amusing, that what it was. He found it amusing that the boy finally understood it. It was entertaining to see the Young Master’s expression change to one of distraught realization.

“Sebastian…” The boy’s uncovered eye widened, moving to look at the tall butler. “You don’t mean…”

The butler smirked. “I have told you many times,” his voice was level and monotone as always. “That I do not lie,” he continued. “I only faithfully execute what the Master orders, and answer what the master asks me.” He bowed.

The boy scowled at the smug butler. “So it was impossible for a person who was there?”

The butler’s red eyes met the boy’s. “Yes, exactly.”

“You bastard…” The boy hissed.

Papers scattered the floor of the bedroom. “By your order, I, your “chessman” shall become your “sword”. Now then,” the butler’s pupils narrowed to vertical slits. “Let us move into check.”

“Indeed you were only following my orders,” the boy growled. “But the inquiry was but a farce?!”

The boy scowled again, grinding his teeth, as he slipped off his eye patch, to look at his butler, that bastard, with both eyes. His hand, finding a pillow, and flung it at that smug face.

Sebastian merely tilted his head, the pillow flying past him, his mouth tilting in another snide smirk. “My, my,” he mused, looking back at his master. “Are you taking you anger out on me?”

The butler crouched down, picking the soft cushion from the floor, brushing the dust off. “I thought you kept me by your side, knowing full well what I am like…”

“Shut up! I know!” The boy glared at the demon, who returned the glare with a pleasant smile. Pleasantly fake.
