13,500 feet
that is how far up off the ground i was when myself and my instructor Daniel jumped out of a plane. yes out of a freakin plane.
i tried really hard to get the video uploaded somewhere so you all could see my nerves, my praying, my screaming, the wind rushing past my face so fast, my skin flapping, my mouth that i couldn't keep closed for the life of me and i looked like some sort of faucet. i wish you could see my exhileration when we hit ground, but i can't seem to upload it, so u can't. but know that it was by far the greatest, most beautiful, most exhilerating and liberating feeling of my life. i faced my fears, i saw th Earth hurtle towards me, i saw the Earth life very few have seen. in those moments, and even when i rewatch the video, i feel blessed, i feel overwhelmed by the world that lay before me, i feel grateful... i felt every happy, positive emotion, sensation, every joyful experience all rolled into one. it was single handedly the BEST MOST TIME!!!
if you've ever thought about it, DO IT. don't wait just do it, you won't regret it, you can't, what is there to regret? A once in a lifetime experience? unless ur chute doesn't open then u have nothing to worry about
my adventure:

standing at the edge of the abyss about to take the leap
I have to at this point point out that this is when i forogt everything they taught us in our 15mins of 'training' before we jump. as soon as he said Ready, Set, Go, I was screaming NOW!!
and apparently he did mean right now
as the wind was rushing past my face i thought my ears were gonna explode, i couldn't keep my eyes open at first because i really wasn't expecting that kind of pressure on my face, and i couldn't keep my mouth closed as you can see
and then by miracle of miracles we made it safely to the ground
