I got to sleep at the AIC in Cranston last night...
It was a fun time, let me tell you...now all I have to do is wait to get my belt and ID back from the mail...maybe about four-five days, I would guess...
So for those of you that don't know...I got a speeding ticket back in December, 77 in a 45, which was $450. I wasn't able to pay the ticket because I have things that I need to pay for that I find more important than the ticket...But low and behold...according to the RI Registry of Motor Vehicles any ticket unpaid up to 45 days, they automatically Suspend your License, which is what happened to me on the 6th of this month...Now apparently they sent me a letter in the mail that stated as such, but the problem was that they sent the letter to my old address for some strange reason, even though I've lived here for over a year and a half...
So everything boils down to this...Last night I was with my friends Joe, Elliot, and Mischiani on our way back to Elliot's place and my friend Joe got pulled over for doing 60 in a 45 and the cops wanted to check everyone else's ID's...of course I had a warrant out for "Non-Appearance" on the 9th (the date for my suspended license) so they brought me into the station and sent me off to the ACI, where I was "Held without Bail" till this morning. This morning I had a court appearance at which I plead guilty to "Driving with a Suspended License" and was given a $477 fine. So now all-in-all I owe the court system $927 before I can get my License back to a "Good Standing". Fun isn't it...
This is my Life...and I feel it forever will be...Let us see how Luck can change...and Hope for the better...
