IKTPF note. (or, please don't kill me, I've had a rough couple of weeks)
I am horrible and evil, but not dead. Sorry there's been such a lack of updates, my minds been on a lot of real life stuff and I've had a bit of writer's block because of it.
Chapter five has been written and rewritten four times now. . . and I'm not happy with any of it. It's just not coming out right. So I figured if I took a break from the fic for a bit I'd be able to reread what I have written and start with a fresh mind. . . we'll see if that works. I'm going to be doing that once I'm done posting this and then I'm going to start up a clean word document.
If all goes well, then I should be able to get enough written for a chapter during the eight-ish hours I have set aside tomorrow. Problem is, is that I'll be writing the chapter by hand, as my laptop had an unfortunate accident and is no longer portable. So, yeah, old fashioned pen and paper and then typing it out when I get home.
Here's the thing with chapter 5 - It's an in-between chapter. There's a few things I have to take care of in order to get the chapters after it where I want them. Once I can churn out chapter 5, updates will be much more frequent again - I know pretty much what I want to do for everything afterwards . . . it's just the setup that's giving me trouble. So, yeah.
TL;DR Re-reading tonight, checking notes, trying to get things started. Tomorrow, pen and paper writing. Tues, Wed hopefully will have an update for you.
