Bulletin Board Notice To All Students
As many students did poorly on the last exam, I have decided to make available an extra credit assignment:
Essay, 500 words minimum. Extra points for bibliography and impressiveness.
The topic is to be one of the following:
1. Compare and Contrast Ophelia and Portia in Shakespeare's Plays.
2. Jane Eyre: romaticism in an anti-romantic novel.
3. For the adventurous: A discussion of a novel of your choice, which we have read during the past year. (Atlas Shrugged, Lord of the Flies, The Outsiders, Brave New World, Of Mice and Men, To Kill a Mockingbird, Catcher in the Rye.)
You have until the end of the term. Good luck.
