Things to do this summer for broke ass me
This year the tastefest in Detroit includes a lineup of Broken Social Scene, De La Soul, George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Calexico, The Zombies, NOMO, and a handful of really awesome Detroit bands. It's over 4th of July weekend and it's free. I wish that I lived closer to Detroit because I fucking love that city. This weekend I am going to DEMF. How awesome.
