Wow I've been off since Friday and I have slept a lot. I don't have to be to work until 11 on Monday and Tuesday but I think I will call and see if they need me to come in at 9. I don't mind, I love my job and the over time is always a nice thing. I also just found out that on Sundays when I work I will be making an extra 1.00 per hour so I do believe I am going to start volunteering for more Sundays. $11.00/hr sounds pretty good to me. I have someone that is going to give me the books I need to study for my exam to get re certified. The deadline for signing up for the March exam is January 13th so I need to get my paper work mailed to me. Mom is going to pay the $120.00 that is cost to take the exam. And I will have to drive to Atlanta to take it..I can go to Atlanta or Huntsville but I'm thinking Atlanta..unless we have the money to spend the weekend in Huntsville by then. Not sure yet.
Have I mentioned that I love my job. I just hope it stays that way and that I don't get burned out like I did with CVS.
It's so cold here, as I'm sure it is pretty much every where. But tomorrow I want to spend as much time with James and the kids as possible because the only day I have off next week is Thursday and then I don't have another day off for another week. I'm cramping like hell and I hope this pms shit ends before Monday.
Mom is giving me/us the money to pick up a Dora T.V. and DVD player for Savannah. The television is normally 89.00 and the dvd player is normally 69.00, but you get both of them for 99.00 on the day after Thanksgiving and I also get 20% off of one item and 100% off the rest...so I think I will use my 20% off on the television and dvd player. We aren't going to hook it up to cable, we just want to put it in their room so that she/they can watch dvds when they are in there. Now if we can just Savannah 100% potty trained, things would be great. Any one have any tips? Devon is only taking a bottle at night now, he drinks out of a sippy cup the rest of the time. And I know it's way past time to be getting rid of the pacifier for Savannah. She gave it up, without a fight, before Devon was born, but afterward she took it back...and I honestly believe her having that thing in her mouth most of the time is why she doesn't talk as much as she would if she didn't have the thing, but if I can just get her to have it at night and not in the day...except maybe for naps, then we can ween her off of it all together...but I'm not putting up a huge fight over the thing, it's not worth it and I honestly have a hard time believing my child will walk around with a binky at the age of 10 or whatever..
So, I know this has just been a lot of rambling but just some things I wanted to write about, since I haven't been on that much. Anyway, hope everyone is doing well, and I look forward to reading updates from you guys. Night.
