It is a duty of the General Investigations to provide the rest of the company with useful data regarding the threats we might encounter.
I found a book entitled 'The Rise and Fall of Umbrella Corporation" in the lower level Library. With help from Turk Valeria's report, it was linked to Wesker, a virologist employed by Umbrella Inc.
In a section, the book briefly mentions the creatures which roamed through the streets of 'Raccoon city', a town controlled by Umbrella. Some of them have already been encountered.

I.Zombie.

A zombie refers to any person who has been infected with the T-Virus and turned into a reanimated corpse. The incubation period for the virus varies depending on how strong the person's immune system is. This can be a week in some cases though it is generally within a few hours, sometimes even minutes. Long incubation period will lead to slow but eventual necrosis of the person's skin.
Zombies have lost all powers of reasoning and are driven by instinct. A zombie can be defeated by severely damaging the central nervous system or extreme muscle and bone deterioration.

II. Cerberus

Cerberus or more commonly known as a Zombie Dog is a Doberman that has been infected with the T-Virus. These dogs usually have parts of their internal organs and rib cage partially exposed.
Regardless the state of their body, these creatures are extremely fast and agile.

III. Crows
During the viral outbreak in Raccoon City, most of the crows were immediately infected with the T-Virus after eating an infected creature. An infected crow is larger than a regular crow and will immediately attack any living creature that wanders into its territory. Also, an infected crow is not as sensitive to loud noises as their regular counterparts.

IV. Licker
The creature got its name from its most distinguishing characteristic, its long sharp tongue which it uses to attack its prey. The licker can stretch it in order to penetrate the human's chest. Its brain and musculature are exposed. They do not have eyes and have to rely on their acute sense of hearing to detect prey. Lickers are quadrupedal and can climb walls, turning them into agile foes difficult to target.

From other sources, some notes on the virus itself.

According to Doctor Birkin.-

All higher brain functions are destroyed. This leaves only the telencephalon, better known as the cerebrum, to govern behavior. This Leaves the infected host with a very animalistic behavior. As the virus spreads, it damages the hypothalamus. This produces a massive flood of neurotransmitters, enzymes, and hormones such as norepinephrine and dopamine. These effects, combined with the painful symptoms of the infection, induce a psychotic rage, persistent hunger, and increased aggressiveness in those infected.

All the possible ways in which the virus can be transmitted are unknown. However one has been identified, which can be extremely contagious for those involved in combat against T-virus infected creatures, including Wesker himself.

-The creature's bite. - Consequentially wounding.
-The creature's blood.

(( ooc: Wesker-mun I tried to be basic with the details regarding the monsters. If there is something that shouldn't be there let me know ^^;))
