That is so true, Elena-san. I feared the new gods would place new rules upon death. But they seem to continue with the idea of revival without a maximum punishment. Unless... there is one which has yet to manifest. So far, Wesker is the same one with all his particular traits and attributes.

We would be gambling with the possibility, which can result incredibly dangerous. We are aware how dangerous he is, besides, do you truly want to kill him?

Are you willing to risk your memories for that possibility? It is uncertain how many cells were injected, and the nature of them - they could have multiplied.
However, it is possible to attempt something similar to the serum used on Schuldig.
