final announcment
Why is it that I see people wearing faux vintage clothing that is to say people wearing shirts, and jackets that are made to look old but arent. Why is it people are wearing t-shirts with logos from bands that were at the height of their popularity before they were even born. I mean the other day I saw some twelve year old wearing a led zepplin shirt, and another day I saw a kid with a dusty looking jacket that said the rolling stones on the back.
I wont even get into the whole brand name wearing thing and the "bling-bling", nor will I get into the new line of toys put out for kids which emulate such things. Sure this is a great country in some ways, but on the other hand is it so good to promote affluence and a sense of placement based on material worth.
