Also? This had to be my favourite line: The Doctor did not pull away, or seek to deepen the kiss. He merely let Rimmer take his time.

i think the Doctor has had a lot of practice receiving kisses, but he's never the one to initiate (that i've seen). also, beyond kissing, he definitely looses his nerve.

it's too bad, really. i'd love to see Eleven jump something. maybe not River Song...

hope it's not "wtf, that is ridiculous, no effing way," weird, and more "that....is definitely a stretch but i'm kinda enjoying it" weird.

something about Eleven/Rimmer just...seems oddly right to me.

Oh I'm actually okay with Eleven/Rimmer, even though I still see the Eleventh Doctor as a very asexual person... I just don't like that Jack/Amy/Lister thing so much. Lister/Jack or even Lister/Amy would be okay (even though I don't believe Amy would ever go with Lister, LOL), but the three of them together... that just feels wrong. But still liking it, don't worry ;).

Oh and you don't have Kryten in your story? Interesting! :)

i don't believe Amy would ever go with Lister on her own, either. but i *do* believe that she would rise to a challenge, and especially one proposed by Jack. I also have trouble imagining Lister/Jack alone because, at heart, Lister is a romantic, and at heart, Jack is predatory and ruthless. However, with Amy to soften it, and Jack to keep it spicy, I can imagine Lister being overwhelmed, yes, but enjoying it.

Eleven is asexual...true. But when i saw how he fought off Amy's advances in that episode, and when i try to imagine him being sweet and romantically cuddly with someone, ...it just *isn't* a girl. i'd definitely say that Eleven sets off my gaydar. Agree?
