Ah, Lister. You're the most perceptive man onboard the Starbug, and you can't see the effect you have on people. *shakes head* I expect that from Rimmer, not you. Now wake up and smell the curry and go console Rimmer.

I like the Petersen part. That kiss in Timeslides always left me wondering about those two...

I love every part, in fact. It's hard to pick specific lines, simply because I'd end up with the entire piece. Rimmer's bit was, IHMO, the best bit, but I'm a Lister/Rimmer fan. ;) Great job!

Lister might be observant, but IMO he's got self-esteem issues, and body image issues. One of the first things Paranoia does is go on about his looks and weight, and about the only thing Rimmer ever says to him that he lets get to him is body appearance related. (Consider how easy it was - comparatively - for Rimmer to persuade him to swap bodies.) So yeah, I think he'd have a blind spot there, despite how confident he is with the Ladies. I think that's just something that comes naturally to him, that he doesn't have to think about.

You could also take Olaf Petersen, who would sit behind Lister in the shuttle headed back from planet-leave, staring at the other man’s legs and wondering if he still had that tattoo; if he remembered why he’d gotten it, and what had really happened that night.

Well, it made him want to do a whole host of other things, mainly; the curling up and hiding was mostly there to prevent him from actually thinking about those all that much.

Yes, there was this about Lister. And if he ever got a body, Rimmer swore, the first thing he would do was punch that smegger out before he had time to look at him properly.
