Remus watches Sirius. Frequently. He follows Sirius’ deft movements and easy smiles with an intensity only rivaled by his dedication to revision.
He wishes that he could possess him at times. He knows that this line of thinking is folly.
No one can own that boy, least of all him. But dreams, they come. They stay. The givers of both hope and desperation.
Loving him is a greater sin than wanting to own him. Loving the boy will destroy him. Has destroyed him. Will continue to destroy him until there is nothing left and his very essence is laid bare.
Remus knows that this is what Sirius wants. He smiles, shyly, and gives it to him willingly.
