Mum: *reads over shoulder* Reviews from Twilighted? You mean Twilight fan fiction?
Me: *closes browser* ...yeah.
Mum: You wrote Twilight fanfic?
Me: Um...yeah?
Mum: Oh, Leila, now that's just shameful.
Me: *headdesks*
Yes, my mother, who knows that I've been writing slash for the last four years, who knows that I've written animagi-bestiality, who knows that I've written dub-con, channish snarry slash, who knows I've written blood/knife/branding play with little more than a raised eyebrow...is calling me out on this.
