Title: Mind Riot
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Loveless
Characters: Kio (and Ritsuka/Soubi)
Summary: When Kio wakes, five things come to mind, maybe six.
Notes: I can't believe I wrote this. Definitely spoilers for most recent Loveless manga. Um. Yeah. Sorry.
Kio wakes, finding himself no longer handcuffed, but on a bed in Soubi's place. He looks around, assuring himself that he's not dreaming. The first thing, the very first thing, that crosses Kio's mind is that he, without a doubt, fucking loathes Seimei, the fucking psycho, and why couldn't that bastard actually be dead, he'd like to know.
The second thing is that he really, really needs to take a piss. Spending God knows how many hours handcuffed in a dark room would do that to a person.
Kio grimaces, stands, realises that the room no longer wants to be still, and the third thing, once more, is just how much he wishes he could take a large pointy stick and impale that fucking no good bastard Seimei upon it.
The trip to the bathroom is harder than he'd like to admit. One near fall and two stubbed toes later, Kio emerges with an empty bladder, and an emptier stomach.
Before his fourth thought can be of procuring food, it's stolen in a moment when Ritsuka glances up at him, and hurries to get Soubi from the kitchen.
His fourth thought stutters in his mind, over and over and over until he's sure that he really is dreaming. Maybe being locked in a room wasn't so bad-though if that's true, he's likely pissed his pant-and dear god, where are Ritsuka's ears. His ears. His ears. Kio blinks, but his fourth thought remains in his mind stubbornly. They're gone.
Soubi's smiling, and Kio wonders if he should punch him in the face. Ritsuka's face is red, and his eyes dart everywhere except Soubi's face, but at least he's not walking funny. And that's when his fifth thought slips in, and he realises that Soubi is.
Next, Kio doesn't think that Soubi's a pervert, though he is, and he doesn't think of the uproar this will undoubtedly cause, and doesn't even think of how that crazy bastard Seimei will react, because all can think of now is how jealous he is of Ritsuka, the brat.
