I've accepted a job with Motorola, in Boxborough. It is a small office, under 100 people. It was a startup called Broadbus until Motorola bought it last fall. They make Video On Demand systems for cable companies. I will be working with a 5 person verification team, and 4 RTL designers who are all in the same building. Compare this with ~30 people over 5 sites that I have been working with over the last year. :p Mind you, the chips are nowhere near as complicated. The work is much like what I was doing in Ottawa before I moved here, and that is a good thing. It's the same length of drive from my current apartment, which is still a bit long, but doable. But it's on Rt 2 so it has a much better radius for apartment choices. I might even be able to get close to the red line! I have to wait for the transfer of my work visa, so I'm still at Intel for 6-8 more weeks. This is a huge relief and I'm extraordinarily excited. HIP HIP HOORAY!!
