summer in january

i went for a walk. in a t-shirt and a unzipped cotton sweater. it wasn't cold. it was humid and intermittently breezy such that the air felt like caresses. i lay on my back on the top of a playground structure and watched the clouds move. i tried to do pullups on the monkey bars. not much luck. so i came home and worked out :p

i didn't realize how much winter i was giving up when i moved here. it's freaky.
