2. How do you style your hair?
Um, I wash it and brush it. If I have enough time, I blow dry it. But my hair is entirely too long and thick for me to successfully style it myself. My arms get tired, and I get frustrated and possibly throw things.
3. What are you wearing now?
Socks, American Chopper PJ pants, a wifebeater, a flannel shirt, and a hoodie. And I'm still cold.
4. What's your occupation?
I just got promoted to manager at my job of three and a half years, JoAnn Fabrics.
5. What do you hear right now?
Nate's anime movie.
6. Have you ever licked a lamp post in the winter?
Fuuuuck no. That scene from A Christmas Story will haunt me forever.
7. What are you thinking about right now?
Trying to write. I'm plotting a scene in my head that will most likely be chapter seven or something, and I've actually written up to chapter two. What happens in between? No goddamned clue.
8. Write the first word that comes to mind.
Friend.
9. Dog person or cat person?
Cats. OMG, cats. I loathe dogs.
10. If you came across $2,000 (or other currency) would you keep it or turn it in?
I like to think I would turn it in, because I am a HUGE believer in karma, and I know she's a motherfucking bitch. Buuut... I'd probably keep it and suffer the consequences.
11. What was the last thing that you bought?
I bought my niece's birthday present: a coffee mug with the classic Alice in Wonderland illustrations. It has a heat activated Cheshire cat that disappears when you put hot liquid in it... only his smile remains. It's pretty awesome.
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Ireland.
13. Where do you see yourself in five years?
Hopefully in my own house/apartment. That's all I really want at the moment. Whatever else happens, happens.
14. Last book you've read?
Sadly, I don't remember the last book I actually finished. I never have time to read anymore, and it's depressing. But I'm currently reading Jericho's latest book. Hopefully I'll get to finish it. Actually, scratch that, I WILL finish it, because anyone who attempts to keep me from doing so will suffer major bodily harm.
15. Would you rather have a multitude of friends who weren't very good friends, or only one friend who was the utter best?
I have both. I love all of my friends, but I've been disappointed by the "multitude" several times. It seems that my loyalty far exceeds most other people's, and I end up feeling like I have no friends at all when I really need them. However, I also do have that utter best friend, and she's been there for me EVERY SINGLE TIME I've needed her for the past twelve years. I just wish she lived closer. I could really use her right now.
16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
The guitar, I think it's beautiful. Or maybe the harp. I love strung instruments... must have something to do with my hand fetish.
17. How are you?
I'm cold and dreading going to work tomorrow. I just want to crawl under my electric blanket and stay there for several days.
18. If you could have any super power, and could use it without fear of being ostracized or punished, what power would you like to have?
Whenever I'm asked this question, I usually answer invisibility. But I also really like Devlin's shapeshifting idea. I think I'd have to go with that.
19. What are you looking forward to the most?
Going to Wisconsin to visit Sarah and hopefully hang out with my other forever-friends.
20. Diamonds or pearls?
Diamonds, I guess. Pearls are really pretty, but they don't look right on me.
