So here it is... the post you've been waiting for ;-) I am in Washington writing this- my friends all abandoned me for something they called a reliable excuse known as "class."

Ever been to Washington before? I suggest you visit. There's something about this place that I'm attracted to- probably my friends more than anything else, to be honest. So, maybe you should take time to visit my friends. They are wonderful.

I was picked up at the airport around 12:30 by Kevin and Ashley. They then took me to Red Robin where we met Sarah, Teresa, and Greg. It was fun surprising Greg...It was really funny. Lunch was enjoyable-even if I did get hit in the eye by a French fry. And don't say, "it was just a fry." Let me tell you, anything smacking you right, smack in the middle of the eye hurts- and it did. But no worries. SO right- Teresa drove back to Pullman. I enjoyed the car ride. It was nice to just be with these people I haven't seen in so long. I got to ask Pavy some questions about XA here - it was interesting to hear what he had to say. I told him some things that I've been sensing about the WSU XA as I've prayed for them. During the car ride, I tried calling Courtey and Steph H. from Sarah's phone. Neither answered. It's okay though- when we got to Pullman, we stopped at the XA house and chatted for a little bit. Courtney, Steph, and Mike all three ended up coming in while I was there.

Teresa and I then headed to Lewiston for church. Her church had three prophets visiting for the weekend so we enjoyed listening to these Words. I have some thoughts about the church, but I'm not going to type those here - I haven't even taken time to tell Teresa yet. Anyway, I got to pray with Phil Cana (one of the prophets). He's a neat man. We also prayed for this man, Rob, to be healed- he's been having back pains. The Lord gave me a word for Rob that He is straighten Rob's posture in the Spirit. That it is time for Rob to walk in that upright stature He's been appointed to. After church, I was pretty worn-out. I had nothing left to offer. I was certainly providing for some entertaining first impressions.:-) Due to circumstances I promised not to write here, we eventually got back to Teresa's house later than anticipated. I walked in and couldn't help but feel "at home" and welcomed. I got settled in pretty quickly. I had T tell me a bedtime story -- it was a beautiful story to say the least. Thank you. I fell asleep not long after. I slept better on Saturday night than I have in a very long time... I cannot even begin to describe to you how great of a sleep it was. We got up and headed off to church- which was a great service. I enjoyed it a lot. The word was wonderful. After the message, the prophets again prophesied over a particular married couple and then other people throughout the congregation. One of the men opened an altar call for people who needed to "come back home" in terms of being the prodigal children. He then asked for those who have returned home in the past to come to the front and pray over those people. I prayed for one woman for a while and then moved to another woman. God spoke some powerful words over her through me. Wow- when I was done she smiled, with tears running down her cheeks, and I said to her, "I guess it'd be good to introduce myself now, huh?" she just laughed. It was one of those God moments that I will hold in my heart for a great duration.

After church, we went back to the Coons' house for dinner. I met Teresa's friend Emi as well as another couple. It was a blast spending time with Teresa's family - dad, brother, and one sister anyway. It's fun meeting people I've been praying for so avidly these last few months and seeing who they are in person AND in spirit. God's so cool. I love them- just like I said I did MONTHS ago- I love them. After lunch, we jetted back up here to Pullman. We spent the afternoon just sitting around enjoying each other. I finally got to meet Ginger- a long awaited and greatly anticipated hug. Meeting Anna was neat, too. After hearing so much about so many of these people, it's great to be able to finally have faces and personalities to go with them. While hanging out, Ginger and Anna's Core came over for cereal pot-luck. Amidst the girls, Lindsey K. came in.. she didn't have the slightest clue that I was in town- surprising her was, again, a load of fun.

This UEBER comfy chair that I'm sitting in rocks, spins, AND reclines. I didn't know it reclined till I just accidentally did so. SWEET!

SO right, I helped Emi with her English for a long time. She's cute. I want to keep her. Teresa and Kevin (and others I've been meeting) had a flag football game last night. It was fun to watch. I enjoyed meeting some other people and getting some time on the side lines to chat with them. After showering and what-not, T and I listened to the tape of when she was prophesied over on Thursday night. As I listened, I couldn't help but be overcome with pride- pride in calling Teresa my friend; my sister. Afterward, Ginger came home and we got to pray for her leg (she got beat up pretty badly in her rugby game). After praying for Ginger, T and I talked a bit more about the richness of Christ. We prayed together and then called it a night.

This morning has been great. Like I said, everyone is at class. It was beautiful being awakened by Teresa- truthfully, it was nice. I didn't get up, though. I went back to sleep and got up an hour-ish later when Ginger left. I read a little and then went for a run. It is beautiful here in its own way. After my run, I came back to the apartment and played guitar for a while and now here I am. Growing hungier by the second. Courtney sent me a text just a little bit ago- I'm hopefully going to get some time with her this afternoon before she and T plan for Core. AND hopefully, I can catch Sarah for a bit, too, this afternoon.
