I actually have a lot to write about today.
My family from Los Angeles came in to town on Friday. They are staying at our house so my brother and I gave up our beds so our cousins can sleep. We are camping out in a tent in the backyard and it has been fun so far.
My aunt has been in the hospital for 27 days now. There is one thing after another. The nurses told my parents that they have never had anybody in the Intensive Care Unit for so long. My parents were told that she has served as a good case study for all of the staff as this has never happened before and they are learning from this experience. She is doing loads better, its just they have tried to move her several times and each time something has gone wrong such as bleeding. Today they moved her to a personal room, so hopefully she'll be able to recover a lot faster.
On Saturday night I ended up hanging out with the group and as usual we didn't really have plans set into stone. Once Valerie and Yvette showed up Anthony and I convinced everybody else somewhat to go dancing. We would have preferred going to 69 but since Graham's was in closer vicinity that is where we went. I would say we had an enjoyable night of dancing and laughter. I didn't get home till really late and proceeded into my tent as to not wake anybody up.
I have been feeling the effects of sleeping so late so harshly today. I have been continually dozing off every now and then and I really need to wake up.
This morning's softball game was a laugher. We won with relative ease as we pounded our way to a 18-2 victory. I played first base and went 3-3 with 2 runs scored and an RBI. Pretty good I would say. I didn't hit a home run today though, shucks...I was getting used to that.
I don't know how it happened but all of a sudden I'm reading three books at once. I'm pretty crazy so I'm going to continues this and expand my mind. I was first reading Deadeye Dick by Kurt Vonnegut then started reading Turn of the Screw by Henry James and finally The Time Machine by H.G. Wells. Woo!
I'm sorry If I haven't been responding to e-mails/messages/comments, I am less available due to my family staying with us.
Everyone have a good week,
Rich

I thought this was a pretty good read. Its a site of quotes that people overhear in New York and later submit to this website.
