Just out of curiosity, I checked to see how Avatar was doing in the box office. Two and a half weeks in and it's already number four in the all time box office.
I went with Karolina and her brother today and saw it in IMAX 3d. Simple story, amazing storytelling. If you're going to see it, I would recommend a 3d show, whether its IMAX or not. In fact, I would probably not even recommend you see it unless it's 3d. Like I said, the story is not that great, but it's visually stunning.
