(no subject)
I've been getting caught up with comics the last few days, starting with Cable and X-Force. I'm not terribly impressed with the writing on either book, but I do love the art. Cable reads a bit like a fanfic, which is okay, I suppose, because it's not bad. But I'm hoping we don't get any more, uh... vexatious Nathan/Hope bits.
X-Force, aside from it's "gloves are off, we KILL PEOPLE" tripe, is filling me with large doses of nostalgia. I don't know what's going on in the core titles, so I could possibly get said nostalgia there, but I want to keep reading this book for the moment.
Also, heaven help me, I kinda of like X-23. If only Logan would just leave and let Dom take charge, I'd really look forward to it.
I read G.I. Joe #1. Uhm, I'm trying to be excited. I'll just wait and see if Lady Jaye shows up. Though, I did like Dial-Tone's ... alteration. :)
One more episode and I'm up-to-date with 24. A lot of female leads this time. I hope at least one of them survives the day! :P
