Lorna woke slowly, the shove dislodging her from her dream. She was dreaming about Sky, and those were...well. Those were quite the dreams. Maybe she'd visit LeBlanc again...though she hadn't even seen him around in a while...was he even still at the academy? Because it was a damn shame if he wasn't.

"Huh?" She looked around and rubbed her eyes. So she wasn't alone... Had she been drinking the night before? She couldn't recall. So she rolled over to look at the person beside her, and her eyes widened when she discovered it was another female.

"............Good..........morning?"

Oh good this person was just as shocked as she was. That was a good thing right? She could only hope it meant that this was some very strange prank of some kind. She drew her hand away and scooted to the other side of the bed putting a bit of space between them.

"I... suppose it is. You wouldn't happen to have any idea as to why we're like this would you?" She fussed with the sheets in her lap, her fingers twisting the already rumpled up fabric. "Not to be rude but I'm not the kind to end up in a complete stranger's bed, so I'm more than a little confused."

Lorna laughed a little bit, not quite sure how to say that she...frequently did end up with people in her bed. Ah well, she supposed. Obviously it hadn't been about -that-, though. She was still wearing her under-shirt and panties, which she wore to bed when she slept alone.

"This...academy has done stranger things...I'm sure there's an explanation..." She rubbed at her eyes, then realised she was speaking without hiding her fangs, and quickly snapped her head to the side. Fortunately, it was still quite dark, though she reached out to turn on a lamp near her bed.

A note fluttered to the floor and she picked it up to read--that hadn't been there before, surely it would offer some inspiration. Her eyes flicked over it, then she sighed and held it out to the other woman.

"Oh so things like this happen frequently?" Ann didn't know what to think about that. She wasn't sure if fear, annoyance, or relief was the proper response. She shifted a little moving to kneel on the bed, tucking her nightgown under her legs ( ... )

Lorna looked away and to the side before speaking--now that the light was on, she wasn't going to look at the other woman when speaking. "Well, -strange- things happen frequently, at any rate. I wouldn't say it's any more 'like' this than it is for the fact of it's strange."

She smiled an odd smile, her lips pulled very tightly over her teeth, and took Ann's hand to shake. Then she looked away before introducing herself. "My name's Lorna. And...we'll need to get to my classroom before sunrise and stay there until after sundown. I only have two classes, though, so yours are more than welcome in my room..."

"That isn't very comforting, then again I guess it should be since something exactly like this never happened before." She was trying to find a bright side in this and remain calm.

She tilted her head at that strange way of smiling. It seemed pained and put out somehow. Maybe the other woman wasn't very social? She gently drew her hand away.

"That limits my movements a great deal." Her expression settled into a frown even as she moved to slide from the bed. "I'll simply have to do everything in the evening time after sunset."

Lorna nodded quietly. "It's...still a good while before sunrise..." She stood and went about getting dressed. "If we go to your room to get you dressed, go to your classroom to get your things, leave a note there for your students to come to mine, and bring your supplies to my room...we can see about after that getting breakfast if there's enough time before sunrise."

She let out a soft sigh and looked to the woman apologetically, then back to what she was doing. "I'm sorry to slap you with so many restrictions...my life is a bit...unusual..."

She wrapped her arms about herself and nodded. "That's more than fine. I'm just unused to such happenings." She still didn't feel right being in someone's room uninvited. "Very calm and level headed of you considering everything, I'm glad for that."

Really she was it was keeping her calm as well. "It's not a bother darling really. I just hope this doesn't last for frightfully long. I'm sure you'd like to go about at your own pace and in your own way. I'll try not to be a- ow!"

She trailed off wincing slightly, her eyes tearing a little. There was that nasty little jolt from being too far apart. She'll just walk around the bed mindful not to touch anything again, while glaring accusingly at the bed. "That was most unpleasant!"

Lorna yelped in pain when they were jolted. Was from the bed to her closet really too far for this binding? She staggered closer to the woman, panting heavily. Her fangs were easily visible then--long and sharp in her mouth.

"This...is going to get old fast..."

"I... I'll stay closer." She reached out with gentle hands to steady the other woman. "There, there now it's not so bad. At least we know to stay close from now on, hm?" There was a small smile on her lips as she tried to keep a positive outlook.

"Oh... my -" She tilted her head peering at Lorna's fangs. She gestured to them with a movement of her hand. "I see now why we can't go out in the daytime. How interesting! I've never met one like you before." But her manners came back before she got too personal.

She certainly didn't want to offend the other teacher. That would be horrible and what if the poor dear was sensitive about that subject? No. It was best to leave it be for now at least. "Are you alright?" There was gentle concern in her voice even as she looked the over over wanting to be certain she was indeed fine.

The moment Ann gestured at her mouth, Lorna snapped her head away like she'd been struck across the face. She'd been doing so well, keeping them hidden, but now the other woman had seen them...knew she was a vampire... She took a few deep breaths, trying to stay calm. The other woman didn't seem to be upset, didn't seem ready to call for her head on a pike, so....she'd have to go with it.

"We're...more common than most people realise...." She smiled awkwardly, though this time more relaxed with her lips--her fangs poked out the bottom of her smile, as well. "I'm fine...I just need to get my boots and maybe a hair band."

"Oh well fancy that~!" She giggled then nodded. "We'll find your boots then and I'll help with your hair if you'd like." Ann had always wanted a daughter so this could be quite fun if Lorna would allow her to help even just the slightest little bit.

"You seem to be just fine so you really shouldn't worry about your elongated canines, dear. You're a lovely girl I'm sure." The redhead smiled gently and patted her shoulder. She'd move to help Lorna find her boots careful to keep close to her.

She gestured with a hand. "Are you scared of people's reactions - is that why you hide them?" She peered up at her. "You really shouldn't. It's best to be who you are and stand out, you know. Hiding things is a chore believe me, dear, I know."

She stood holding out Lorna's boots, a thoughtful expression on her face. "Someone... very dear to me once told me that differences are what make people beautiful. Well not in those exact words but that's what it meant. You should embrace the you that you are inside and out."
