Daisy had had enough.
Enough of the indoors, enough of keeping to herself, enough of quietly reading alone in the library. She hadn't even seen much of Becca, her own roommate and best friend. The blonde wasn't quite sure WHY she had kept to herself for so long, as it certainly wasn't like her. She was friendly and in your face, and she hadn't known why it had come over her. Perhaps it was because of the seemingly blue mood that had swept over the school, between the fog and it's shadows, and so many people having left the school all together.
Enough.
She drug out her cutest and most brightly colored clothes. A hot pink top with yellow flowers that was 2 sizes to big and engulfed her already small frame, a pair of kahki shorts with pink stitching that she had made herself, rainbow socks and white tennis shoes. She pulled her blonde hair back into a ponty tail, securing it with 12 different ribbons each one in a different color. She didn't match, but she didn't care. Grabbing her headphones she was out of the room and out of the building, out in the courtyard to great the rising sun and chirping birds. She danced along to the music from her headphones, burst out singing any lyrics she knew, and she smiled. Smiled bright, like the sunshine itself.
She stopped, suddenly, and glanced up at the windows to the dorms. Anyone and everyone could likely see her, but she was not one for embaracement. She smiled graciously, and waved at the windows, just in case anyone was looking. "GOOD MORNING!!" she cried aloud to anyone who could hear her, and then was dancing again.
