Yes, anoter dream.

Alright. So, I was on the 222 bus, trying to get back to Remond Park and Ride. I knew I needed to transfer, but I didn't know where. so I asked the bus driver and he said I missed the transfer point. I look around the bus, lo and behold, look who's on it! Jason! Weird. So the bus driver was offering me a ride, but I told him it was OK because I'd ask Jason to drive me home. So I asked him, but he said he wasn't going back to 80th street (around where we both live) but that he was going to the beach with this girl. Oh, and I forgot to mention that all of a sudden Redmond has a beach AND it's the middle of summer. I said that's fine, just bring me anywhere in Redmond and I'll call my mom and get a ride from there. I had money in my backpack, no cell phone.

So we get to the beach and all of a sudden I happen to be wearing my red two piece/bikini thing, with my red flannel shirt, and no shoes or shorts. So, OK, I've seen this beach and boardwalk one other time in my dreams. I had it awhile ago. It was one of those dreams I had when I was in Virginia and I found out that I was actually moving to Washington. So, about the beach: BEAUTIFUL! There's the beach over to my very left, the street I'm on runs parallel to it. Technically, it's not a real street. It's just a wide strip of sand that runs in between two rows of shops with big wooden boardwalks. So Jason parks at a point, and we run up the sand to try to get to the point where his friends are. That was a long run. A long the way somewhere, I lost my backpack, but I didn't notice it at the time. It was a fun run with him though.

So we get to his friends. Apparently, his exgirlfriend is best friends with this chicks exboyfriend, and everyone thought she and Jason would really get along. So I say OK, I'll see you later Jason, didn't really talk to the other people... kind of waved to them. His g/f and I exchanged suspicious glasses. So I started walking back down the boardwalk to find a phone. There was a lifeguard stand (yes, in the middle of the street and boardwalks) and there was a puny short little lifeguard standing next to it who really reminded me of Michael Rogers. So the life guard comes up to me, really thug-like, and says, "Hey, we didn't see you come up this way, where'd you come from?" I said something along the lines of, "That's nice, fuck off." And then he pushed me. That really pissed me off. I whirled around and said, "Excuse me, did you just touch me? How dare you! You want to start something, huh??" All that kind of talk. Apparently Jason and his friends, or at least just Jason, had been walking in the same direction as me, and in the middle of all that, Jason showed up. He came up to the guard and pushed him around and started shouting at him, wanting to know if he'd hurt me. He was about ready to beat the guard up. The guard said no, he just touched me, so Jason relaxed and wandered back off with his friends. This was about the time I noticed I didn't have my backpack.

So I wandered down the boardwalk and sandstreet the way Jason and I had come. Apparently, we ripped down some traffic signals and their wire along the way. I found those, but no red backpack. Soo, I was at the point where Jason had parked. So I turned around, walked all the way back to where he had met his friends, and then walked back to where he parked scanning everything for signs of my backpack. Then I went to the beach for a little bit and came back. I went into the row of shops furthest from the beach to try to find some change on the ground so I could call someone for a ride. So I started exploring the bathrooms. I found 15 cents in the first bathroom. It was a really weird bathroom. The seats were just like chairs, all covered in a cranberry colour, with a hole in the middle. So you'd sit on the fabric and .. do your business. I thought that was disgusting. I found some normal toilets. It was kind of a unisex bathroom, the guys' stalls in one row, the girls' stalls in another. So I went along and wandered around, found another bathroom and found 30 cents in that one.

So by that time, I'd found enough to make a call (I guess it was still 25 or 35 cents) and it was dark outside. I walked up and down the boardwalk looking at the road signs of the roads that led up to it, trying to pick a place to tell my ride to be. I decided to tell my ride "S. Bird St." - I had just turned around and call my ride, when a man with a little kid standing next to the street sign called my name. I ignored him, thinking, maybe he means another Ilara. (Hey, it doesn't have to be smart, it was a dream.) After all, I didn't know him. So he called me again, but louder. I turned around. He said, "All your friends are spread out looking for you." I rolled my eyes. He meant Jason and those people. So all of a sudden... I had my cell phone. I searched the phone book for his number, but instead of his name like I have it, it was some kind of song lyric. I wish I could remember it. So I called him... we met up, and right about the time he and I were sitting in an empty restaurant in a booth waiting for coffee and food (me still in my bathing suit) the dream ended.
