What a story. I feel sorry for your dad (and annoyed with him, too; that's what real life is like, though).

I can't believe you read this. It came out a lot longer than I wanted; I was distracted, though.

Eh, maybe. I want to do a book of stories about my childhood, because I guess it was sufficiently ... different, you know? But I can never get the tone right on these stories. Things that I think are funny come out depressing. Maybe I need to add funny illustrations.

By all means, add some! I still remember how much I enjoyed your hand-drawn, handwritten LJ entry from several years ago.
