A - Highest support level possible. It'll take some time to get tot his point, but...Matthew might almost trust you, if you do.
B - Second level of support. Reasonably friendly relations and a level of trust, to a certain extent.

A very, very good friend, and who would've thought it'd turn out this way? Certainly not Matthew; he knows how dangerous Naoya is and knows when he needs to avoid him or not--or he thought he did, but now if he needs a place to go, he knows he can go to Naoya and the other won't turn him away. They know each others' pasts and they know each others' tragedies, and somehow that evens out to evenings with a glass of wine or whiskey and comfortable silence.
