FANDOM DILEMMA

So, question:
Should I try to get tickets to the Season 7 Doctor Who premiere, being that it's in my hometown?

Pros: free (pretty much), big geeky event, definite cosplayers and possible free swag, probability of Daleks high

Cons: I dislike Moffat, I don't really care one way or another about the cast, possible herd of smug geek boys, probability of someone asking my opinion and my answering honestly.

I mean, I probably shouldn't. I think. Because people that go to things they don't like are jerks. But then again, big geeky event, and if I went with L1 we could be jerks together quietly and not spread our bubble of jerkness outward.

I GUESS I WILL DECIDE ONCE THEY GO ON SALE? I'm conflicted.

(And yes, for those of you that love the new seasons, it does totally sucks that someone like me is actually in NYC but doesn't care about Matt or Karen or the Moff. I agree with you and I'm sorry, really. You can come stay on my couch for the 25th if that makes you feel any better.)
