quick note before bed
Just wanted to say before I tumble off into bed (working saturday and sunday, thank you) that I had a lovely evening with Kat and Ro and the rest of the lovely women at Kat's dinner.
(Of course, showing up 1 1/2 hours late because you're finishing up your radio application {T&V will be resurrected!} is rude, but luckily Kat loves me anyway.) We need to have more dinners. And I had forgotten how much I like the two of them.
It was so NICE to just hang out with other queer girls. Or just girls really. Ever since L1 left in Dec I've been stuck with just Connor mostly. And he is not a queer girl. We talked and ate and read and there was flying toast and bad drinks and pilfering of kat's goods and general silliness. Sure, I ended up staying till 11:30, but it was worth it. mmmm, friends.
Oh, and my bike continues to fall to pieces- in addition to the handlebars that aren't really attached(just lean back and try to stay in a straight line) there's now an odd, heavy click which each revolution of the pedal. And I rode all the way home, downhill, on the street without a bike light. I have a death wish. I'm hoping to make it to the bike!coop sunday, if I can work that in between working and seeing Jean. Too many plans! But I need to see Jean this weekend to make up for last weekend, so we'll see what she says.
