Happy Belated Valentine's Day!
So... I actually don't really care about Valentine's Day at all, though I do have fond memories in college of making my significant other horrible Valentines jokingly. (One was an elaborate, glitter decorated heart shaped doily with an cut out image of St. Valentine being matryed in the center, with "Thinking of you" written on it in sparkly pen, another said "You were meant for me" on the outside and "As a punishment" on the inside. :) )
However, I totally wanted to post something cute and Doctor/Rose-y because sometimes I'm a fandom sheep, and plus, any excuse is an good excuse for Doctor and Rose! I didn't get to it since I was finishing that non-fandom project I had due, but I sat down this weekend and finished one of the mostly finished things I had in my WIP folder. (I also tried to finish up a similar one featuring Nine and Rose, since this one is Ten, but it needs more work and hadn't been betaed, so I put it aside for now, oh well.)
ANYWAY. Hope everyone had a good weekend, and click the cut for a manip of Ten (or TenII) and Rose napping in the TARDIS, if you're interested. :)
Nothing untoward or sexual is happening in this image at all, (they're sleeping) but the Doctor is shirtless and Rose is in a short nightgown, if anyone cares about that.

So I don't have a lot of notes on this one because I started it such a long time ago I don't really remember much about making it. Although it's not very realistic, I really like the idea of normal furniture being all scattered through the TARDIS while the floors, walls, etc. are still all TARDIS-Y. So there's that. The biggest issue with this image is, of course, that the picture is so friggin teeny. I scoured the web to try to find a bigger version (which I figure must exist, since I saw giant versions of this ad in the subway when it came out) but I failed. I did find a big version just of the crop of the their faces with his arm around her; if I'm motivated I might make a version just of that for a wallpaper or something, since it'd be a decent size. The other big issue was the image of Rose was from the TARDIS and had a heavy blue cast on it which I needed to remove. I was moderately successful with that, I think. I had to make the male body skinnier and longer, and the female body shorter and less skinny. I also took heels off the female body since I figured not a lot of people sleep in strappy heels. And then I curved and leveled and shadowed everything. I know this is kinda "eh" with the image quality being so poor, but I thought it was fun and cute? Anyway, going to try for some Nine next, and try to finish more from the half finished pile...
