Man oh man. That thing... (Melanie) :) Just so... bad. Crap. Like scrap metal.
So Gray wants me to do dramatic interp for literary this year. Um... eek? I think I might tell him no... I couldn't find a script and do something well for that. I have basically zero confidence in myself in that type of thing- monologue-esque. I was like hey- we're in a new region, I can just copy Klan's! And be about half as amusing... yeah- no. Cast lists for the mainstage will be up tomorrow. I kind of hope I get in. I didn't really care when we auditioned, I was just sort of auditioning for the heck of it, but now we've talked about the scripts and stuff, I'm really kinda excited. And I REALLY hope Mel and Emily and I could be in it together- how awesome would that be? Improv was today until 6:30... my scenes kinda sucked... and by kinda I mean really. I hope I can pull things together before the show. Oh- and if I do literary and get in the mainstage show (which he still doesn't know what it will be, he's picking that along with the cast on Friday) It'll go (in February) Conference- scholarship auditions-monologues- ack- and start working on SSO stuff (in March) One Acts- Jan's show, but I'm only in one there so not too bad, weekend after, literary- dramatic interp- lots of prep time needed, weekend after, mainstage performance. Then- basically nothing for the rest of the year, theatre wise. No- wait, there's another improv show thrown in there somewhere. March 22, maybe? It's a Tuesday- random day, I know. Battle of the Bands has the theatre the rest of the week. And Even after that, I won't be able to pull together Much Ado at the SCAC because it's the end of the year, and all our people that we pull from will be busy doing 800 things associated with the end of their senior year- IB /AP exams, oral commentaries, college prep stuff... so no go there either. I really hope we can do that show before all the boys leave us... Good grief, what on EARTH am I going to do next year without them? *sigh*. Guess a time machine will come in useful more than once- I can use it to go back and visit them. Anyways. *sigh*. Tonight: Thank you. Goodnight. See you in the morning. (and I didn't say drive safely, no 'you too'. I hope it was done anyways.)
