So, my husband and I were discussing
the New York Times article about gravity tonight, and rapidly descended into silliness. It went something like this:
Him: Space-time has curvature in the presence of math*. (*he meant 'mass' but that's where the conversation went off the rails)
Me: If we accept the conservation of math, than math can be neither created nor destroyed. And if an equation is true in the woods, does it matter if no-one is there to solve it?
(This actually turned into a discussion of Platonic truth. Are we geeks, or what?)
