It's not quite as hopeless as it appears here. Callin has a stroke, of course, but Bedrosia has earth-level medical tech at least. He's going to recover. And poor Malin- she's not in great shape either, but she improves and is in the next story too (though I'm not sure that being in one of my stories is *necessarily* a good thing from the character's POV!. I've been stuck at the 'thrashing-through-the-jungle-looking-for-the-plot' stage for a while tho.

No, I don't think they ever mention Bedrosia in the Ori eps. No real reason they should- the Bedrosians presumably buried their gate. But the Ori are presumed to have access to all the original addresses- they don't seem to have any trouble getting around in our galaxy. So if they sent a ship out to check planets which used to have gates, but where they couldn't get a lock by dialling, that's how they could have found Bedrosia. Or Earth could send a ship there. But that's another plot issue- any plot with the Ori has to deal with them being so incredibly advanced technologically- it's a huge power imbalance. So trying to figure out a reasonable-sounding plot that doesn't have the Bedrosians saying, "No! We worship Nefertum! A pox on your Origin!" and being blown away instantly is another issue! *g*

Yeah, I'd been thinking Earth wouldn't even know if the Ori had gone there. Unless, of course, after all the dust clears, a new regime there unburies the Gate....
