Happy 79th Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!post script....
This has been a busy day for us...we had the cable person come and
fix our T.V....it seems that we had a tree branch, heavy with water,
blocking our reception....so he cut it and it works...we are $79.95
lighter in our checking account...then we had the air person and he
fix our air conditioner and he too took away $79.95 with him...we haven't started calling to get rid of the couch but I plan to get on
that tomorrow...I want to get rid of it, then recarpet our living room
and find a smaller couch..Grampa is still having pain but he keeps it
somewhat down by the pain pills the Doctor gave him...I have my barrel
in the front filled and now I am working on the flower bed but,
of course, not today since we have had rain all day..I brought a lovely
hanging basket for the front porch, a hanging basket of small tomatoes
for the deck and another hanging basket for the deck...I have not
had a lot of back pain (althought some) but I try to wear by back
brace when I work in the yard or cooking...enjoyed going to Tyrone for
church last Sunday..Dad didn't go so I went alone...I love going and
being with all my friends and then last night my friend, Hilda, called
me and it was a joy to chat with her...I have been calling my sister
once a week to check on her...she continues to gain her strength back
but at her age, it doesn't bounce back, it takes it jolly good time.
well, the 6:30 news is starting so I'm off to watch....
