So last night I finally got my new office arrangement in order. The new computer desk all setup. All 4 computers (personal desktop, server, personal laptop, work laptop all connected by a spiftacular USB KVM switch) were setup and running smoovely. I started doing some housecleaning on the hard drives and, yes, totally fucked myself. I misread the name of a folder and deleted it, like forever. No trashcan, no nothin.
This morning I spent a few hours using freeware undelete utiltities and got some stuff back but not the most important items. I had written up some guides for my current RPG and they were not recoverable. I luckily have hardcopies of them and a PDF of one of them in addition.
