Hello LJ!

- Still not dead! Just busy. Though I am sick, which is some bullshit. I will spend months pathetically ill through the winter, but I NEVER get sick in the summer. I thrive in warmth and sunlight. Everybody else is complaining about "oh God, the heat, the humidity, it's miserable, I'm melting" and I am BASKING in the sultry, sweltering gloriousness, and feeling kind of guilty over how happy it makes me. 90 degrees? BRING IT ON. I don't think I've ever gotten sick between May and October. But I did, and while I no longer have fever or body aches, all of the gross is still in my chest and I am exhausted and it's terrible. I feel so betrayed. July, how could you do this to me?

+ In other news, I have a Google + account. Currently, I'm not actually planning to *use* it for much of anything unless there's a FB mass exodus, but I do appreciate that it is not blocked at my work, and that the circles make dividing up different groups of people easier. So anyway, I definitely have a fandom circle, and will add people! It's tied to my real life email, not my fannish one, though, so if you don't know my real name or I don't know yours, feel free to DM me.

-/+ I am watching True Blood, Torchwood and Pretty Little Liars, currently. I'm enjoying them all (and would be happy to discuss!), but I'm still missing having an active fandom and something I feel *compelled* to overanalyze at every turn. Though I was talking to
inlovewithnight and
sohotrightnow earlier about the fact that *something* will come along because something always does, and it will probably be horrifyingly embarrassing when it does. I spent TWO YEARS trying to make Doctor Who and Battlestar Galactica be primary fandoms at one point, and while I adored both neither really ever clicked with me in that pure, all-encompassing fannish love way, and then Panic! at the Disco came along and it was all over. And at the time I was like really, self? That's what you're gonna go with? Then I learned to embrace it. GOD ONLY KNOWS what I will learn to embrace next.

+ But tomorrow is the last Harry Potter movie! So that should prove a good fannish summer distraction, at least. END OF AN ERA.
