Final Grad School GPA: 3.872

Yesterday I got my celebratory tattoo. It's on my back, but I'll post pictures as soon as I can get one with a good angle on it.
Last week and the week before were really kind of intense and terrible, but this weekend was pretty good (my department's grad party Friday night - open bar at the Ritz, - followed by not getting out of bed Saturday, followed by celebratory tattooing), and I expect the coming week to be equally intense, but in a much less terrible way.
Graduation is Friday, but the fact that I'm done really doesn't even feel real. No more homework ever again. Holy shit, that's amazing.

Last Tuesday I went to see Cobra Starship and I didn't post about it at the time because I was freaking out so heavily about my last final that I was almost non-functional, but it is worth saying, even a week after the fact, that that band continues to be everything I love. Even when they are also many things I hate at times, they are everything I love. I just kept looking at inlovewithnight and flapping my hands helplessly and trying to articulate how my love for them is pure, and she would pet my shoulder and say, "I know, I know."
