Happy Mardi Gras!
The above is my attempt at festivity and I am very sincere about it. I really do hope that everyone has a good day, and a good Mardi Gras if that is something you celebrate and that the lucky people who are celebrating correctly do at least three or four shots for me.
However, this morning I did not go to Zulu and Rex because I am 1,000 miles away, so instead I came to work. In the snow. After work I am going to my most anxiety inducing class that I haven't even finished my work for. And I'm really not at all thrilled by any of that. I'm feeling pretty tragic about it, actually. But I'm feeling better than I was last night and I have a party to go to tonight, thank God, and I am going to get through today and hopefully feel less sad tomorrow.
