(no subject)
I voted! I had to stand in line for two hours so I can only imagine what a nightmare it's going to be on election day itself. Still, I have done my part and it was so satisfying to watch that little red column light up.
Now all I have to worry about on election night is where to watch the results. I think the best way to do it is in a bar with a large group of people (who share my political affiliation) since I'm pretty sure that no matter what happens I'm going to end up drunk and sobbing by the end of the night. What kind of sobbing it will be is the important question.

Also, Happy Halloween!! I still don't have a costume; I'm going to go home and see if I have random crap in my closet that can be thrown together in an interesting combination. Otherwise I have Mardi Gras masks. We're going out to Adams Morgan and I'm sure it will be a lot of fun, but I'm also pretty sure I'm going to be missing New Orleans tonight.
