DUDE. HOUSE.

I agree with you that from a narrative standpoint, House/Wilson is what makes the most sense, and, tracking the pace and movement of the emotional arcs, is something that should be reached in this season. I know it *probably* won't, but it's going to let the story down when it doesn't end up there.

God, the gay is amazing. The caring about Wilson's friendship more than the patient, Wilson's bit at the end about enabling him (which, um, emotionally triggering personally but never mind) was absolutely suggestive of *something*. I'm very much of the belief that if it's never more than friendship, it's never simply platonic with them, and when it's played out that way, well. Man.

Begging for fic about midnight phone calls, too, really, isn't it?

Also, Wilson was right in saying he was an enabler; he is. They have co-dependency issues and it's obvious. I mean, the blame doesn't all rest with House, here. And I get Wilson wanting to go, but I hope it's all explored properly; that the resolution to this pays off in some sort of satisfying way for both characters.

On the non House/Wilson side (which is most of the show for me <3) I miss the old team, though I love Thirteen, and I like Kal Penn in everything. I mean, there's not enough Chase in my show any more.

But. Seriously. Everything last night in 5x01 was one like a part of a multichapter fanfic, you're right.

Also? I miss Amber. <3

House/Wilson is the *only* thing that makes sense. That doesn't mean it's going to happen, but it's the only thing that makes sense.

It's begging for fic, but there's never as much good House fic as I wish there was. Let me know if you find anything.

I haven't watched last night's yet, but I'll probably do that tonight. I am really, really curious where they're going. They have to go *somewhere.* Something has to change; there has to be an arc.

I really agree with you that it makes sense. I really, really do. Sigh. I worry that it's all going to end up screwed over into something that betrays even their friendship, as it once was.

I've never found a single good House fic, actually. But I'll look and let you know!

I'm hanging out for next week. Oh, man, am I ever. <3

I've read a couple good fics. None that were *stunning* I don't think, but some that were solid. It's just hard to find.

I worry that it's all going to end up screwed over into something that betrays even their friendship, as it once was.

I worry about this too, but . . . the narrative arc of their friendship is obviously the *main* narrative arc. And there is so much queer subtext. If they're toying with us, it's just cruel.

I just watched last night's. Definitely let me know when you've seen it.
