Today I went to the Job-Search 401 at school, which taught me how to write a resume, dress for success, speak in an interview and freak out unnecessarily over the job search process. I would definitely like a job that does not involve coffee pots at some point. Also one that does not involve customers. Or, it can involve customers, but I want to call them "clients" and I want them to pay me more for putting up with shit.
Then again, maybe I'll move to the Marigny, keep my job involving coffee pots and sit in a roach infested apartment writing vampire porn and posting it on the internet, all the while pretending I'm a starving artiste when anyone asks. Either way I'm going to counseling and career services next week so they can help me with my cluelessness about job opportunities for English literature majors who don't want to teach under any circumstances and Spanish minors who are barely proficient in Spanish. I'm not going to tell them about plan B.

The nightmares could stop at any time. I started to write one of them out, but then I realized that I don't really want to write it out and you all don't really want to read it. My brain so needs an off switch. What's really weird is that I NEVER remember my dreams, and when I do it's usually the, uhm . . . raunchier ones. I never have nightmares, and now it's like serial killers and guys who have half a face. (DON'T ASK).

In Bizarre New Orleans Weather news, it is apparently supposed to snow on Monday. O_o. Also, there was apparently an earthquake off the coast or something. But it was "not enough" to warrant a tsunami warning. yet. I like the "yet" added on there. Makes me feel secure. We have tsunamis? That are called tsunamis? I hope this is just a rumor of some kind. The weather could stop at any time. I so never want to talk about weather again.

Once again it is Saturday and I have accomplished no work. I can excuse this since I spend the entire day at school, but I really must accomplish more tomorrow. Two things are fast approaching: Mardi Gras and midterms, and these are unmixy things. I think that I agreed to go to the Dervish on goth night tomorrow. I'm not entirely sure how that happened, especially since I have to work at 7am Monday. However, I am going with two coworkers who also have to work at 7am. We shall all suffer together. Pastede on gothness, yay.
