I finished my final project, turning it in at exactly midnight last night (which is when it was due). Because I was an idiot who can't count, I was reformating and organizing the giant annotated list of titles when I discovered that did not have 50 as was required, but rather, 48! I had been counting on the final 15 minutes to add an index to my 77(!!) page document. But, I had to spend those last 15 minutes annotating two more titles, instead. The result of which was a giant 77 page document with annotations in no order whatsoever - not by title, author, genre, and no index either. I feel bad about that. I don't normally turn things in all sloppy like that, but oh well... At least it's finished.
So today I got up early and did everything in the subject line. My mom is coming to visit tomorrow, and we just today finished remodeling the guest room. Timing, huh? So now Brian is cleaning and I am attempting to relax, but having free time makes me nervous. I should probably help clean, but there's nothing I hate more, so I think I'll just do the laundry and.... dare I say it? Read another YA novel. I don't know what to do with myself anymore if I'm not reading. I've even broken the TV addiction a bit.
So I have to work Monday next week and then I'm off until the following Tuesday. Yay! And then summer school starts the following Thursday. I'm glad I decided to take 2 summer school classes because effective in the fall, they've announced a GIGANTIC tuition increase (from $645 per class to $1047 per class). At least I will have 4 of the 14 classes finished at the lower rate. But if Brian doesn't find a job soon, I think I'll probably only be able to take one class in the fall. Ugh.
The summer session has reference services and introduction to libraries in store for me! Yes, I believe in taking intro courses AFTER upper division electives. I did the same thing in college and got stressed out then, as well. Nothing like going to an intro class after you've had the upper level course and thinking, "OHHHHHHHHHHH, THAT's what they were talking about!"
Not having homework to do is making me nervous. I feel like I've forgotten something...
