The next morning, England woke up first and found out that he had shifted away from America in the night. He had never got used to sleeping next to another person, especially a human furnace like America. Now the cold of the morning combined with the heating not yet coming on caused England to shiver and pull the blankets over his naked torso. He also scooted closer to America, stopping just to admire the sight.
Without his glasses America looked younger yes, but not like when he was actually England's colony. His face had hollowed, the last remainder of his baby fat coming of it, causing him to look older than his human body actually was. This with his new boss had caused America to gain some more respect among the world's nations, even if he sometimes still spouted rubbish about robots in space.
England watched the flashes of America's dreams go past. This was one part of his new power that he would miss, America's dreams were always very amusing and sometimes really sweet.
"Arthur!" England turned and sat up suddenly as Zanna hovered by the bed in all her shining green glory.
"Have you -?" Zanna nodded, looking very pleased with herself, and England smiled at her. She deserved it, she had obviously been running herself ragged to find the counter spell in such a short time. England cast one last glance at America, there were some other parts he was going to miss about his power, specifically how he managed to use it last night. But America deserved some privacy, especially how he had put up with him so well the past few days. Also there would be no more constant headaches. "Okay I'm ready."
Zanna flew around England in a large circle, muttering to herself as she did so and England felt something lift off him. When Zanna was done, England looked down at himself, not exactly expecting himself to look different but it felt like the right thing to do.
"Everything should be alright now. And I'm glad it worked even if it did go a bit wrong." Zanna winced but glanced triumphantly at America. England flapped good-naturedly at her and noticed the yawn that almost split her head in two.
"Go to sleep Zanna. You've earned it." England said softly and Zanna nodded sleepily before flying off. England regained his position next to America.
"Arthur?" America murmured sleepily and apart from that word, England could not see or hear anything from Alfred.
"Go back to sleep Alfred. Everything's okay." England said quietly and America snuggled into his shoulder before settling down to sleep again. "Everything's over now." England said to himself and yawned. He shuffled slightly before falling asleep next to America.

Oh this was fun trying to get LJ to work. But it's all sorted now and my first fill is finally deanoned!
Head canon is that there is a universal language that all the nations can speak and that is why England can understand all their thoughts. After I came up with this I found out that this actually canon, that is how the nations can talk to newly discovered nations. I can't believe one of my theories was correct! :D
France calls the other countries by their French real names because he wants to remind the other nations that he has own language and also sometimes to annoy them (England). He's got so used to doing it that he does it in his thoughts as well.
Ramsay's restaurant is Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in London - unfortunately there are lots of them and America wasn't very specific.
The Tudor Rose came about because of the War of the Roses (England's Civil War) between the white rose of the House of York and the red rose of the House of Lancaster (the two warring). Henry VII of the House of Lancaster won against Richard III of the House of York and became King Henry VII. But his power was still unstable so he married Elizabeth of York, merging the Houses of Lancaster and York, creating the Tudor Rose which is a white rose on top of a red rose. My head canon (and a fill somewhere which created this head canon) is that England dislikes just one set of roses because he still remembers his civil war. Although his national flower is a red rose, to him it will be red and white roses.
South Korea has been described as 'one of America's closest allies and greatest friends' by President Obama. Their good relations started during the Korean War and they have had a military alliance since 1953. So I think Korea and America would get on like a house on fire.
About the air exercises: During September to October 2010 the United States, South Korea and other allied forces conducted a series of air and sea exercises in response to the sinking of a South Korean warship by North Korea. The whole thing about regular training is made up though.
Incident between South and North Korea is why ROKS Cheonan sunk. South Korea thought it was done by North Korea, America wanted a harsher line taken against North Korea and China said that it was because of an American rising mine that caused the damage. And Russia thought that it wasn't a North Korean torpedo but couldn't say what it was. North Korea has denied all responsibility.
Now I know that many people wanted me to continue this and go over Korea and Canada and what happened with them. But I felt that this was the right place to end it, even though I will be doing a sequel. A very short sequel that will take a long time in coming.
