Peter ran down to the library to talk to Raivis, excited about what Haseo has told him. He only slowed down once he got there and the librarian on duty had glared him into submission. Upon spotting the other boy, Peter hesitantly walked up to him and said, in the biggest fit of eloquence he had ever had, "Hi."

Raivis had been sitting at a low bench, knees drawn to his chest and arms around them ever since he had answered Peter's question. He just didn't know what to say, or think, or do. The future he had seen scared him more than anything, he didn't want to die nor be alone, he certainly didn't want Toris to be this sad about it. But his own feelings scared him, too. Those feelings that he wasn't sure about yet, not at all, but that would clearly become stronger in the future... They scared him, because he didn't know what it would mean. Even more, what...

Peter knew as well, for sure. He wouldn't have asked like this if not... would he?

When the other boy greeted him, Raivis looked up and tried to smile, but it was so hard. "G...good evening."

"Um, h-how are you? Are you ok?" Peter asked. It had really scared him that Raivis had died so horribly in the future, and he wasn't sure how his friend would handle it. He hesitantly put his arm around Raivis's shoulders, unconsciously trying to protect him from whatever could happen to him. He placed Mr Fluffles in his lap, and said, "You can..hold him if you want."
