So, there was this show called Avatar: The Last Airbender. Which aired on Nick. Past tense. Apparently I missed it in its entirety.
I don't even remember now how I became aware of it (I think probably from
liz_marcs), but over the past couple of weeks I've been inundating my brain with whatever I can find.
And it's just. It's so freaking good. I watched the first season on Netflix, and am working my way through the second (Toph!). And I already know pretty much what happens. And it's still so so good. How the hell did this end up on the Spongebob Channel?
I've been mainlining fanfic of all sorts, browsing artwork at Deviantart, hitting up youtube, everything I can get my grubby virtual hands on. My brain, it overflows with awesome.

This presents the four nations/elements set to fantastic music, with narration by Iroh (speaking of AWESOME).

A movie-trailer-style vid with an overview of the major themes of the series. Well worth viewing in HQ.

Holy crap, the timing/effects in this one. Tribute to Toph and Katara, who are awesome in and of themselves but this vid takes it up to 11. Again, watch in HQ for superbness.
Anyway. I felt like sharing. I haven't had this level of showglee since Firefly.
